Mitsubishi supplies diesel engine generating systems based on three basic technology families, from two factories in Japan. The Yokohama Works provides engines of the KU Series, which are derived from Mitsubishi-MAN B&W technology. The Kobe Works provides engines of the RTA Series (Mitsubishi-Sulzer) and UE Series (Mitsubishi self-developed).
