Plant Description:
The Grand Bahama Power Company Peel Street Station contains nine power generating units. Three units utilize steam turbine generators, four utilize diesel engine generators and two utilize combustion turbine generators. This project involved the inspection, overhaul and modernization of the steam turbine generator Unit #13, which is rated at 40 MW and entered commercial operation in 1970.
